I read the Quote From Rupert Murdoch "The Internet has been the most fundamental change during my lifetime and for hundreds of years" and totally agreed with it, as Internet is the greatest invention in human history. Internet is considered as a media of interacting with the rest of the world. Internet has positively effected the face of modern communication, as Internet provides simple and easy way of communicating with people around the world with access to different websites like social networking sites. Internet usage is also growing with Internet users increasing from 394 million to 1858 billion from 2000 to 2009.

Any one with a computer, modem, cell phone or different device can connect and use the Internet. Millions of people from all over the world use the Internet daily for business,news  sports, entertainment and online transactions purposes. Many people rely heavily on the Internet for communication purposes by actively participating in social networking websites like Face book, Twitter and MSN. People can stay in touch with their friends and family in distance with the help of Internet communication. Internet has also become a very important tool for business transactions with services like on line banking, job seeking, purchasing of air tickets and online shopping, which saves a lot of time and effort. 

Internet is also considered an encyclopedic of knowledge, as the Internet provides large amount of information and has a very large research possibilities, as there is information available on millions of topics like history,places,sports etc . People can find information on any topic with the help of search engines like Google and yahoo search engines.

Internet usage is also growing tremendously with Internet users increasing from 394 million to 1858 billion from 2000 to 2009. Around 22% of the world's population had access to computers with 1 Billion Google searches every day, with Internet users reading blogs.
